The Backstory
On September 28, 2021, I sat in my newly self-converted camper van, parked in a lot in Idaho, bawling my eyes out.
I’d done it. Rearranged my entire life to try out the crazy idea of living nomadically in a van, full-time, all by myself. I had no fixed home base, no partner, no traditional job. Just me, my dreams, and the open road.
I thought I’d feel liberated. Instead, I was terrified.
“What have I done? What am I going to do out here?”
Then it hit me. Over 10 years of creative strategy training had taught me how to solve massive problems by focusing on the essentials. Why couldn’t I do that for my life? So I designed a toolkit to help me plan the next steps, rooted in my deepest values.
I called it The Play Big Playbook.
Within months, I was knocking over dominoes of my wildest dreams: building freedom into my work, growing deep friendships, flying planes, and more.
The Play Big Playbook worked so well, I started sharing it. First with friends, then in group sessions, and eventually with nearly 30 people in a beta course. The feedback was clear: This system changes lives.
